In 2015, while an undergraduate at the Rhode Island School of Design, I received a Maharam Fellowship that took me to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. As the first American permitted to work directly with one of the country’s national parks, I produced a photo series documenting the beauty in the surrounding community.
